Meditate with Ram | Rooted Breathing
Introducing Rooted Breathing
Welcome. Thank you for being here. For being. I’m Ram, and you are warmly invited to join me in this grounding practice of Rooted Breathing. Today, we breathe with the Earth, imagining ourselves as trees: rooted, rising, receiving.
Settling into Stillness
We begin by letting the body settle. Sitting with dignity, like a tree standing in stillness. Let the spine rise like a trunk reaching skyward. Relax the shoulders, soften the gaze, and feel the weight of the body meeting the ground, held by the Earth.
Breathing Through the Roots
- Imagine roots growing from your feet, spreading, anchoring into the Earth
- Breathe in through the feet, drawing breath up into the belly and chest
- Let breath rise like sap through a trunk, nourishing every branch
- Breathe out through the body, sending breath back into the Earth
- Feel the Earth receive your breath, like soil receiving rain
Feeling Earth’s Power
Feel the Earth beneath you, solid, ancient, alive. Let breath be the bridge between body and ground, between sky and soil. Let it move like wind through leaves, water through roots, light through branches.
Resting in Rootedness
Now rest in the whole body: rooted, rising, breathing. Let breath be the sap, presence be the sunlight, stillness be the soil. Feel yourself as a tree—alive, aware, awake.
Dedication of Energy
As the session closes, you’re invited to dedicate your energy with a quiet wish:
“Today, may I stand like a tree—breathing, grounding, growing.”
Closing Reflections
Let the body awaken slowly. Stretch, shift, and open your eyes gently when you're ready. Thank you for breathing with me today.
